Honorary member No. 12 (2005) - Trine Nøvik

The following may be said of this year's candidate:

"She is a Bodø patriot through and through, who in her former jobs for many years contributed towards bringing visitors to the city, taking care of them during their stay, and sending the great majority of them home again with fond memories of Bodø. She is also a Yes person who is not afraid of taking on new tasks, which she pounces on with energy and fervour.

In her enthusiastic way, she has also spent ten years ardently spreading information about, and recruiting members and supporters to the world's best and one and only Sea Eagle Club. An effort that has so far resulted in almost 9,000 members, a sculpture of a sea eagle family and soon also an observation tower in the Rønvikfjellet mountains.

With this work, she has contributed towards making the sea eagle a unifying symbol, indeed, the very mascot of Bodø."

On these grounds the Board of the Sea Eagle Club of Bodø unanimously recommends that

TRINE NØVIK be appointed honorary member No. 12 of the Sea Eagle Club of Bodø.
