The Sea Eagle Club’s mission is to protect sea eagles (white-tailed eagles), provide information about them, and support various other kinds of creative activity. The Club also seeks to help stimulate prosperity and the development of Bodø as a city, and to strengthen the people’s identity and feeling of belonging in the city.

To become a member you must have visited Bodø and seen a sea eagle. As of 1 October 2008, the club has 12,082 members!
